Our History

The practice was established in 1951 by the late Bernard (Bernie) O'Donoghue, who was one of the first accountants to open in Gosford, NSW. Bernie, a Chartered Accountant, was joined by his son, the late Patrick (Pat) O'Donoghue, in the business in 1978. Pat completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of NSW and undertook further studies to become a member of the CPA. Together Bernie and Pat worked in the practice together to grow the business into a successful accounting and auditing practice. Bernie retired from the practice in 1992 and Pat retired in 2016.

In 2002 Pat was joined by his daughter Ariann (Ari) while she completed her Bachelor of Business at the University of Technology, Sydney. Ari competed further studies to be a member of the CPA.

In 2007, Ari’s now husband Adam King joined the practice and has since completed a Diploma of Accounting and Diploma of Financial Planning.
